All things considered, Groot's room in the Normandy base is fairly barren.

A few bags of potting soil sit in the corner, a small stack of terra cotta pots rest in on a small table positioned near the window. An old mattress is leans against the wall, where it has been since he claimed this room for himself.

The walls themselves are blank and bare - lacking all manner of paint or decoration, except for a small, unlabeled envelope taped to the wall.

The note within reads as follows:
